Collection: Sheepskin Goodies

A couple of weeks ago, Kelvin, a lovely supplier from a New Zealand company was strolling the streets of Gore. 

 

Unbeknown to us, he peered in the window of your favourite yarn store and thought "That is where I'd like to see our sheepskins". 

 

He's since been back a couple of times chatting with Shelley, then Mon & myself telling us all about how these stunning romney hides that would have been desinted for landfill had they not been tanned & crafted into stunning bean bags, sheepskins, cushions & ottomans right here in NZ. 

 

I think this is my favourite part of the story, the fact that these hides have only travelled from farm, to the tannery in Napier to us down here in Southland!

 

We've always celebrated wool but now, with your help, we are super proud to be part of the movement to help lift the whole sheep price for our farmers.
