This pattern shows you how I make gorgeous multi-coloured granny squares and how to join them as you go.

Feel free to play with colours or use up your scraps. 

There are no rules. The blanket pictured has over 20 colours. 

I recommend sticking with similar yarn types, like all merino or all wool, so that the squares all wear similar over time.
